OPEN WHEEL SHOWDOWN SPRINT CAR ENTRY CAP LIFTED FOR LAS VEGAS

St Pete Beach, FL (September 8, 2024) – With the recent announcement that promoter Davey Hamilton Jr. had canceled Open Wheel Showdown Los Angeles, it now allows him to focus on the 2nd annual BITNILE.com Open Wheel Showdown Las Vegas November 14-16, 2024. This year’s event will once again return to the “Bullring” at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and feature National Pavement Midgets, Super Modifieds, and Winged Sprint Cars.

Originally the Las Vegas event was limited to 75 total sprint car entries. But now that there will only be one Open Wheel Showdown in 2024, Hamilton Jr. has decided to lift the limit on entries in the sprint car class due to there being only one event. Las Vegas has ample pit parking, and the sky is now the limit for entries.

Currently the Las Vegas entry list stands at 63 entries that represent 10 states and 2 Canadian Provinces. The list is impressive and is headlined by defending race winner Aaron Willison who captured the $50,000 first place prize money last December.

Other notable drivers already entered for the winged sprint car portion of the event include Jo Jo Helberg, Eric Humphries, Jake Trainor, Bobby Santos III, Kody Swanson, Bryan Warf, Jeff Montgomery, Tyler Roahrig, and Mike Murgoitio.

Teams will once again be battling for the $50,000 first place prize money from a total purse of over $155,000.

The quickest and easiest way to enter is go to www.openwheelshowdown.com and fill out the entry form. Entry fees can be paid online with all major credit cards. The rules and purse payout can also be found on the official BITNILE.com Open Wheel Showdown Las Vegas website. National Pavement Midget and Super Modified information can also be found on the site.
